Ma Khaing

My name is Ma Khaing, and I am 32 years old. I have a 4-year-old daughter who attends kindergarten. I moved to Thailand 10 years ago in search of job opportunities. I have returned to Myanmar three times since then. I escaped my husband’s violence and now reside at the FRP shelter. I enjoy making cards, and I’m so happy to earn some money from them. It allows me to buy snacks for my kids and enjoy my favorite food. I feel free and safe here. In my free time, I enjoy singing loudly, spending time with friends at the shelter, and caring for flowers, which brings me happiness. My dream is to own a house with a yard and start my own farm. I am proud of myself for making the firm decision to leave my husband and start anew. Thank you very much for purchasing the cards.
